Sugar Cookies

I am very pleases with my sugar cookie icing this year. I wanted them to have a flat finish and mission succeeded!

I used 1.5 cups of confectioners sugar, two tablespoons of milk and lots of green food coloring.

I put the icing on with a paintbrush, I'm in love with them!

Sundays are for Baking

What another fabulous Sunday, minus the rain that has not stopped all day.  Rainy days are even more perfect for baking though.  Today I enlisted in good ol' Betty Crocker to get some baking done.

They're both delicious, I of course had to sample each one.  On the left are caramel apple-nut bars and on the right are pumpkin whoopie pies (or gobbs as we refer to them in Western PA).
